I’m just a comedian that dabbles in

farm work and I’m asking you to love me.

Raewyn Pickering is a stand up comedian, host, and occasional Keeping Backyard Chickens presenter.

Raewyn Pickering started stand up in 2016, and had 3 successful Melbourne international Comedy Festival split shows before crafting her debut solo hour Bush Week in 2023. She is frequently seen all around Melbourne honing her jokes, is a regular evening guest on ABC Radio with David Astle, and hosts a popular monthly show at Miss Moses in Brunswick - with fellow rising comic Jordan Barr. Raewyn’s comedy is a refreshing blend of rural wisdom and urban insights, all too happy to poke fun at the naivety of city folk, aswell as the challenges of living in the country - she’s got stories about the gross reality of farm animals that would make a businessman’s toes curl inside their pristine R.M. Williams boots. She intelligently weaves observations and witticisms in a charming, dry, laid back style that has made her a regular in all the big rooms around Melbourne.

"hilarious anecdotes..... unpretentious, understated style" (The Plus Ones)

"very funny and relatable… definitely one to keep an eye on" (Funny Tonne)

Email me if you would also like to say nice things and I’ll add them here after whispering them to myself through a mirror.
